Holder Airdrop

  • SPL and Token-2022
  • New

Holder Airdrop sends SOL or a token to the people who hold a Solana token. It reads the holder list from the chain, lets you decide who gets the drop with filters, splits the amount one of five ways and sends it after a single wallet approval. The list, the split and the send all happen on one page.

When this tool fits

#when-this-tool-fits
  • You want to reward the holders of a token: a revenue share, a loyalty drop or a community gift.
  • The recipients are decided by who holds a token, not by a list you already have. For your own list, Multi Sender is the tool.
  • You want pools, exchange wallets and obvious bots out of the list before anything is sent.
  • You want a raffle among holders, with the winners drawn on the page and paid in the same run.

Before you start

#before-you-start
  • A connected wallet (how to connect). You can load holders and plan the split without one; sending needs it.
  • The address of the token whose holders you want to reach. Pick it with the built-in selector or paste it.
  • What you send can be SOL, the same token or any other SPL or Token-2022 token in your wallet, with enough of it for the whole drop.
  • Enough SOL for the platform fee, the network fees and the rent of any token account a recipient does not have yet.

Use only short-lived operational wallets; never enter a seed phrase or a long-term wallet key.

How to use it

#how-to-use-it
  1. Load the holders

Paste the token’s address or pick it from your wallet, choose how many of the top holders to read under Holders to load (100, 500, 1,000, 5,000 or 10,000) and press Load holders. If your own wallet holds the token, it is left out.

  2. Choose who gets it

Pools, exchanges, burn addresses, programs and the creator wallet are left out first. Press Add filter for balance, rank, wallet age, funding clusters, sellers, snipers, empty wallets, a second token or an address list. Each filter chip says how many wallets it removed, and how many it could not check.

  3. Split and send

Pick By holdings, Equal, Tiered, Random or Raffle, choose SOL, the same token or another token, and enter the amount. Check Who gets what and the recipient table, press Send airdrop and approve once in your wallet.

Key settings

#key-settings
  • Holders to load: How many of the largest holders the scan reads: 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000 or 10,000. A very large token can hit the scan’s time limit, and the page then says some holders are missing.
  • Pools, exchanges, burn, programs: On by default. Program addresses are caught for every holder; pools and exchanges for the first 1,000. Tokens sent to a pool vault become part of the pool, and tokens sent to an exchange wallet land in an account thousands of users share, so neither reaches a person.
  • Creator wallet: On by default. Leaves out the mint and freeze authority and the detected creator.
  • Balance and rank: Minimum balance and Maximum balance leave out the smallest wallets and the whales. Rank range keeps only part of the list, for example the top 500.
  • Wallet quality: Wallet age leaves out wallets opened recently. Same funder counts wallets funded by the same wallet as one person. Sellers leaves out wallets that sold more than a share of what they received, and Snipers those whose first buy came in the first slots. Empty wallets removes bot wallets with almost no SOL, and Also holds another token keeps only wallets that hold a second token too. These read the chain one wallet at a time, so they check the largest holders only: up to 2,000 for age, 250 for funders and snipers, 120 for sellers. Everyone past that stays in the list, marked as not checked.
  • Lists: Excluded addresses leaves out the team, market makers or known bots. Only this list keeps just the addresses you load.
  • Split: By holdings pays in proportion to what each wallet holds, and a Cap per wallet (%) stops one wallet from taking too much; what it would have got above the cap goes to the others. Equal gives every wallet the same amount, from a total or a per-wallet figure. Tiered pays fixed amounts to the top wallets, the next group and everyone else. Random gives each wallet an amount between two limits. Raffle draws winners at random, with an equal chance per wallet or tickets by balance under a Ticket cap (%), and you can draw again before you send.
  • What to send: SOL, the same token, or any other token in your wallet. The token you load only decides who receives and how shares are weighted.

Fees and costs

#fees-and-costs
CostAmount
J Tools platform fee0.001 SOL per wallet that receives the airdrop
Minimum chargeA list’s first send is charged for at least 50 wallets (0.05 SOL). A retry, or a send to the rest of the same list, does not pay the minimum again

Solana network feeAbout one transaction per 18 wallets for SOL, per 8 for a token, shown before you approve
Token account rentOnly for recipients with no account for the token you send, read from the chain before you approve

How it works

#how-it-works
  • The holder list comes from an on-chain scan of the token’s accounts. The first 1,000 holders are also checked for what owns them, which is how pools, exchanges and burn addresses are found.
  • The table under the chart shows exactly what each wallet gets, before anything is sent. You can remove a wallet by hand and add it back. Wallets that would get less than the smallest amount that can be sent are listed apart, and one click leaves them out.
  • One approval funds a one-time sender wallet with what the run needs. The tab then sends every part from it and returns the small reserve to your wallet at the end. The send uses the same engine as Multi Sender.
  • A Token-2022 token with a transfer fee or a transfer hook, or a send from a pasted key, goes out the other way: your wallet approves each part on its own. A transfer-fee token arrives a little reduced, and the confirmation says so.
  • Wallets this list already reached are not paid twice. To send everyone a new round, press New airdrop.

Before you sign

Check Leaves your wallet in the confirmation before you approve. It is the same amount your wallet asks for, and the part that comes back at the end is shown under it. The app is the current source of truth for amount, fee and route.

Common issues

#common-issues
  • That is not a valid Solana token address. The address is mistyped or is not a token mint. Paste it again or pick the token from your wallet.
  • The holder scan took too long. The token has too many accounts to read at this setting. Choose a smaller Holders to load value.
  • The RPC is busy right now. Wait a few seconds and press Load holders again.
  • Some wallets would get less than the smallest sendable amount. Raise the amount, or press Leave these out to drop them from the list.
  • Draw the winners first. In Raffle, press Draw winners before sending. If the draw cannot read a blockhash, try again.
  • Airdrop partly delivered. The result window shows how many wallets received it, what left your wallet and the transactions. Press Send to the N that failed and only those go out, without the minimum charge.
  • Nothing was delivered. No wallet received the airdrop and nothing was charged for it. You can try again.
  • The tab closed mid-send. Whatever the one-time sender still holds goes back to your wallet the next time you connect it on this page.

Practical tips

#practical-tips
  • Look before you reward. Holder Snapshot shows concentration and fresh wallets, and J Map shows which holders were funded by the same wallet.
  • Keep a record. Download Excel saves the whole list: each wallet, its holding, its share, what it gets and, once sent, its transaction.
