Sell & Buy
Sell & Buy sells an amount of one token from a set of seller wallets and buys about the same amount back with a second set of buyer wallets. You choose how far the bought total may land from the sold total (the band), how the sale is split across sellers, and whether the trades go out in Jito bundles or one at a time, seconds apart. A run takes up to 5,000 wallets, sellers and buyers together, and can be spread over as much as 72 hours.

When this tool fits
#when-this-tool-fits- You hold a token across many wallets and want to move part of it to other wallets through the market, so the price comes back to where it was instead of only dropping.
- Ten wallets hold a large amount and a few thousand wallets should end up holding it, each with a different, smaller amount.
- The coin’s main pool pairs it with a token other than SOL (a USDC, USD1 or xStock pair, or any X/Y pool where neither side is SOL), and you want to trade on that pool.
- The run should go slowly: spread over hours, in random gaps, with the tab left open.
For a single direction (only buys or only sells across many wallets) use Bundled Trade. For one swap from one wallet use Swap.
Before you start
#before-you-start- A connected wallet (how to connect). It owns the run and its fee and referral records, and signs a free message that proves it owns the run. It never trades and never signs a trade.
- A token mint, classic SPL or Token-2022, picked with the built-in token selector. A Token-2022 mint whose transfer hook runs a program keeps Start Sell & Buy closed.
- Seller wallets that hold the token, each with a little SOL for the platform fee, the network fee and the tip.
- Buyer wallets funded with the token the pool trades against (SOL on a SOL pair), plus SOL for the same costs and any new account rent.
- The private keys of those wallets, ready to import. They stay in the page and sign there. A wallet is either a seller or a buyer, never both in one run.
How to use it
#how-to-use-it-
Pick the token and the pool
Paste or pick the token. Pool shows Auto (the market the coin trades on now) and every pool the coin has, with what it pairs against and its liquidity. Pick one to trade on that pool, or paste a pool address that is not listed. When the coin trades against a token other than SOL, Pay with another token… lets the buyers pay in SOL or a third token instead: it is swapped into the pool’s token first and back at the end. A coin that trades against SOL is bought with SOL or with the other token of a pool you pick.
-
Import the wallets
Import the seller wallets in the first column and the buyer wallets in the second. Each row shows its balance and, once the plan is ready, what it sells or spends. A row that cannot take part (no token to sell, nothing to buy with) is flagged, and Remove them drops all flagged rows at once.
-
Set the run and start
Enter Tokens to sell (or a share of what the sellers hold), the Band, how the sale splits across sellers and buyers, the send mode and, if you want, a spread over hours. Read the plan strip: what sells, what the sellers receive, the buy-back band, what the buyers spend, the transaction count and the cost. Click Start Sell & Buy and keep the tab open. Stop ends the run after the step in flight.
Key settings
#key-settings- Tokens to sell: the total the sellers sell. The buyers buy about this much back. You can also set it as a Share of what the sellers hold.
- Band: how far the bought total may land from the sold total, from 0.5% to 20% (3% by default). A run that ends below the band gets one closing buy.
- Split across sellers: By balance (each seller sells the same share of what it holds), Equal (the same amount each, up to what a wallet holds) or Whole wallets (the fullest wallet sells everything, then the next, until the amount is reached; the rest are not touched).
- Split across buyers: Random (a different amount per buyer, adding up to the target; Shuffle again draws new amounts) or Equal.
- Buyers that buy: leave it empty to buy with every buyer. Enter a number to buy with only that many, picked at random among the funded ones. Fewer buyers means a bigger buy each.
- Send mode: Bundle sends sells and buys to Jito together, so they land in the same block. No bundle sends one transaction at a time, a random gap apart inside Gap between transactions (1 to 120 seconds).
- Run order: Balanced follows each sell with buys of the same size, so the price keeps coming back. Sells first sends every sell, then every buy: the price dips, then recovers.
- Jito tip per bundle: Low (0.003), Mid (0.006) or High (0.015 SOL), paid once per bundle. In No bundle mode each transaction carries a fixed 0.0005 SOL relay tip instead.
- Slippage: how far a trade may move against its quote before it refuses. Auto uses 15%.
- Spread across: No spread, or 1, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48 or 72 hours. The steps go out at random gaps across that time.
Fees and costs
#fees-and-costs| Cost | Amount |
|---|---|
| J Tools platform fee | 0.0035 SOL per transaction that lands |
| Jito tip | Once per bundle (Low, Mid or High); 0.0005 SOL per transaction in No bundle mode |
| Solana network fee | Paid by each wallet in its own transaction |
| Rent | A buyer that has no account for the token yet pays its rent once |
Every sell, buy and conversion is one transaction from one wallet, and each carries its own fee as its last instruction. A transaction that does not land pays no fee. The plan strip shows the fee total and the tip total before you start, and the result popup shows the fee the run actually paid.
How it works
#how-it-works- Planning. The page reads the pool’s price and depth and splits the sale across the sellers and the buy-back across the buyers. On a market that shows a price but not its depth, the first step is an estimate and every later step is corrected from the chain.
- Sending. The server builds each step’s transactions; your browser checks and signs them with the imported keys. In Bundle mode a step is up to five transactions that land together in one block or not at all. A step that did not land gets one retry on a fresh blockhash, and one more if the price moved and a trade refused.
- Tracking. After every step the page reads what actually sold and bought on chain, and sizes the next buys from that, so the bought total stays near the sold total. If the run ends below the band, one closing buy makes up the gap.
- Keys and the tab. The keys live only in this tab. Closing it pauses the run. Opening the page again in the same browser shows the run with Resume for up to seven days; import any missing wallets and it goes on from the step where it stopped. Before it resumes, the page spends up to two minutes checking what the closed tab sent last, so nothing is sent twice.
- Result. When the run ends, a popup shows what was sold, what was bought back, the difference and whether it landed inside the band, the fee paid, and how many transactions landed, failed or were skipped, with each seller’s and buyer’s change.
Supported pools
#supported-poolsAuto trades on the market the coin trades on now and stays there for the whole run. With a pool picked:
- Orca and Meteora (DLMM, DAMM v2, DAMM v1): the run trades on that very pool.
- PumpSwap: a pool is offered when it is the one the engine finds for that pair.
- Raydium: you pick the market, and Raydium picks which of the coin’s pools fills each trade.
- Pump.fun and LaunchLab curves (StonkFun, Bonk.fun and Raydium LaunchLab launches): through Auto while the coin is on its curve.
A pool that pairs the coin with another token, neither of them SOL, trades against that token: the buyers hold it and the sellers receive it.
Platform versions
#platform-versionsThe app also lists Sell & Buy once per platform. Each of these pages is Sell & Buy locked to one market or launchpad: the pool list shows only that platform’s pools, and a coin from elsewhere keeps Start Sell & Buy closed with a link to the general tool. The steps and the fee are the same.
| Page | What it trades |
|---|---|
| Pump.fun Sell & Buy | A Pump.fun coin on its curve or its PumpSwap pool. |
| PumpSwap Sell & Buy | A coin on its PumpSwap pool. |
| Raydium Sell & Buy | A coin on its Raydium pools. |
| Meteora Sell & Buy | A coin on its Meteora pool. |
| Orca Sell & Buy | A coin on its Orca Whirlpool. |
| StonkFun Sell & Buy | A StonkFun coin: its LaunchLab curve, then Raydium. |
| Bonk.fun Sell & Buy | A Bonk.fun coin: its LaunchLab curve, then Raydium. |
| LaunchLab Sell & Buy | Any Raydium LaunchLab coin: the curve, then Raydium. |
Before you sign
#before-you-signThe imported keys sign inside the page, so no wallet popup stops a mistake. Check the plan strip before you press Start Sell & Buy: the amount sold, the band, what the buyers spend, the transaction count and the cost. The app is the current source of truth for amount, fee and route.
Common issues
#common-issues- Start stays closed. The line above the button says why: no token, no sellers or buyers, an amount above what the sellers hold, a wallet on both sides, a seller or buyer short of SOL, or a pool too shallow to buy the amount back.
- The buyers are short. The page says how much of the pool’s token the buyers still need. Fund them, press Refresh, or lower the amount.
- Some buys come out too small. A buy under 0.0001 of the pool’s token is not worth a transaction. Sell more or set fewer Buyers that buy.
- The tab closed mid-run. Open the page again in the same browser and press Resume. If a newer run replaced it or a week has passed, start a new one.
- A transaction shows “No answer from the chain yet”. Check the wallet on an explorer before running again.
Practical tips
#practical-tips- For thousands of buyers, set Buyers that buy so each buy stays a sensible size.
- Whole wallets leaves most sellers untouched: useful when only a few wallets should give up their tokens.
- Use No bundle with a spread for slow, spaced trading; use Bundle when sells and buys should land together.
- Keep the laptop awake during a spread run. A sleeping machine pauses the tab, and the run waits until it wakes.
